I remember watching her sing it. Such a long time ago. There was a boy singer round about the same time......can't remember his name or his song!!!!! I can remember my first favourite singer....David Whitfield. What a voice!
Millie reminds me of Saturday morning pictures at the local Odeon flea pit, the manager used to put on a talent contest where the kids would get on stage and mime or dance to the hits of the day , my mate Lloyd would have to bring his sister along as his mum and dad both worked on Sat's, picture this , a six year old West Indian girl skinny as a rake with her hair in bunches and a killer smile doing a word perfect mime and a skank style dance , brought the house down for the next six weeks
please log in to view this image Mrs B got sent this on facebook. I tried to pick the first payer to come to mind for each shirt...with mixed results. Where some of them came from, I can't think. They sure as hell weren't all the obvious ones. Mine included Clint Dempsey, Chiriches and Wilson Palacios.
And here are some kits that will never happen: Can't say that I've been impressed by the supposed leaked ones, either.
I never collected shirts,Brian, although I do have the 60/61 shirt, unsigned. I was a crazy programme collector and being a natural hoarder, still have them in my cabinet in folders and dated by season. Some must be worth something because I have 3 from season 1939/40 before war stopped it. I also have a Thames programme with Jimmy Dimmock as their left winger. Poor soul suffered leg amputation later in life!
Our Odeon fleapit had a Tarzan competition. Needless to say I didn't win it because I wore swimming trunks and the winner made a kind of leopard skin pair of trunks out of some of his mum's clothes. PS, both of us had two legs. I wouldn't have mentioned it but it gave me an excuse to post this: unidexter
Love the film deedub , was the winners mum Bet Lynch , Saturday morning pictures, could you imagine it today, Alpha mums getting the hump because their little darling getting booed of stage , coming home soaked because some oik had lobbed a Kiora orange juice over them and getting whacked round the ear with Skyray ice lollies. Bet most of the managers wouldn't pass a CRB either

Kyle Walker now making a very strong bid to be football's biggest twat... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52587293
It's like the expression "when in a hole, stop digging" was invented for him. Needs better pr advice.
The K-League is bracing itself for record audiences worldwide Funny how a country that doesn't spend six weeks finding new and innovative ways to put their thumbs up their backside when a pandemic is bearing down on them get to restart their football season, isn't it?
It's all a bit beyond me. He has 3 children with his "childhood sweetheart" who he was with for 11 years. He has an affair (while they have kids) and she takes him back. He has another affair and she becomes pregnant with their child. During lockdown he has two escorts and a mate over for the night and then (the same day) puts out a message via his club telling people to obey the lockdown rules. I have every sympathy for those suffering from mental health issues. I have had enough myself ... but, tbh, I find it a bit two faced of him to complain of the media ignoring his mental health issues and then saying it's unfair on his 4 children ... he didn't seem to think about the mental health of his partner or his children when having the two affairs and he did not seem to think of the mental health of his 4 kids or their mothers when he was caught with the escorts. Seems like only Kyle Walker's mental health matters to Kyle Walker. Personally speaking I do think he should be hounded by the press but his me me me attitude is pretty **** tbh.
