We're all anxious to get back to some normality but this proposed announcement of easing restrictions is a mistake imo.

If there's one thing we learned at the start it's that mixed messages cause more confusion and people ending up doing their own thing. On the way home today the traffic was virtually like normal working day.

People have already relaxed and that's just on rumours of beer gardens being opened. Imagine what it'll be like after Sunday.

A fck up in the making.

With the number of people still being admitted to hospital daily and many hundreds of deaths (officially) per day I really don’t get how we can loosen restrictions at all right now. We are slightly beyond the peak but it seems a very gradual slide down. There just seems to be too much of it still about to risk it, for me.

They probably ****ed it up tbf.

Being ****ing useless is not exclusively a UK government thing, but we do seem to be world leaders in that department.

You won’t. If he was photographed in a hospital, carrying a baseball bat with Covid-19 written on it, clubbing old people over the head, you’d say it was too early to draw any conclusions. And also, Dianne Abbott

It's a bit of a mockery. Same principle as being a bit pregnant. It'll be ok because the hairdressers will still be closed <laugh>

We need an actual exit plan before easing. Things like decision on wearing face masks out in public and provision of public transport etc before decisions are made on how we ease up the lockdown.

Conversely if he was pictured in full PPE performing life saving heart surgery and spending 24 hours in a hospital ward you'd say he's a piece of **** anyway and Michael Gove.

She was right what she said. I'll use my words to translate...Boris spilled the beans on Wednesday, yet they have the front today to turn up to a daily briefing with no more information, which causes confusion as we move into a bank holiday weekend!
