    Not just in Russia.

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....ity-of-pittsburgh-professor-killed/index.html

It could be asked why a government that comprehensively won power on a Brexit mandate where the main claim was to gain sovereignty and control of borders, then a few months later, didn't close the borders and still haven't, for fear of upsetting the global order.

Instead the public are being nudged by fear into accepting not being able to go for a drink or an unnecessary drive and not only that, but to resent and rat on those that do.

That will flush out which companies are only keeping staff because the furlough.
That’s not a good thing as I suspect there will be mass redundancies, it’s just so far hidden by furloughing.
Kuoni for example too staff back after they’d left but who then found themselves with no jobs to go and the furloughed them all. They won’t keep them on post furlough though of course.
    Unemployment time bomb IMHO

It could, and should be asked.

Mind you they could have done it regardless of being in the EU so it was always an odd claim

You're not a hero as you don't work in the NHS (guessing here to be fair). Just saying.

Edit: Bugger, already mentioned. Should have read the rest of the thread first.

The UK could "get going" with easing some lockdown measures from Monday, Boris Johnson has signalled.

He suggested a "phase two" plan for tackling coronavirus now infection numbers have peaked might come into force the day after he gives an update on the lockdown on Sunday.

"We'll want if we possibly can to get going with some of these measures on Monday," he told MPs at his first clash with new Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in parliament on Wednesday.

"I think it would be a good thing if people had an idea of what's coming the following day."

Surely companies and employees would need at least a few days notice.

Think its more likely the "social bubble" idea for meeting outdoors that will get any green light for monday ,

followed by a three phase business plan 1st June small businesses , middle of June - larger firms and beginning of July the leisure industry .. purely down to how teh numbers look after each phase of course

And us plumbers and heating engineers, I’ve only had two jobs, a non flushing bog, very urgent, and a combi with no hot water, not so urgent, but very inconvenient.
