Genuine phone conversation I had earlier

"We're calling to inform you that the bottle of Belizian rum you ordered doesn't look the same as it does on our website. Will this be a problem?"
"Are the contents the same as advertised?"
    "Yes they are"
    "Yup, fine"

Yeah he'll be back, I've thought that the moment he left.

I think us parting ways was the best move for both parties, the players had gone stale under Poch and Poch himself seemed 'off' but the time away will do him some good, hopefully he gets a job in the meantime so he can continue to grow as a manager and then return to Spurs in x amount of years, ideally to then continue/ improve on the success Jose will hopefully bring. Really do think if the club (Levy) gives Jose the backing he can do something pretty special and if Poch can then return to a Tottenham with somewhat of a winning mentality, it's a recipe for something quite sexy.

if that’s genuinely how he feels I’d love to have him back

but I’m not sure I want to see him let down by Levy again

So while the rest of the world was stockpiling bog roll, apparently Elon Musk was stockpiling cocaine...

Yup, it's still there but no longer as a Ticket Office. I can probably count on the fingers of one hand how many times I've drunk in there.

When I was obsessed by the stadium build, I probably knew what it's going to become...but if I did, I've forgotten.

You'd rather Netflix was aggressively pushing Bird Box again? I swear we were a week away from them forcing their way into people's homes to make them watch that damn thing...

So something struck me the other day

Over on r/coys somebody posted a tweet with some Berbatov stats, basically the usual karma whoring you get on subreddits, and the response could pretty easily be split into two camps: people who didn't know that Berbatov played for us, or people who said that Berbatov only ever saw us as a stepping stone so shouldn't be considered one of our greats

Now this last part struck me, because the logic behind that argument isn't anything he has ever said (barring trying to twist a comment he made after the fact of being unsure he wanted to join us, even though at that time we were barely qualifying for the Europa League so we were a step down from Leverkusen in that regard at the time) but because he played 70 league games for us, which is apparently "proof" that his heart was never really at the club

Now that last part is bizarre, because basing a player's commitment on the number of games is just absurd, especially when you consider the number of players who had less games than Berbatov, not least Rafa van der Vaart playing 63 league games or Sandro playing 76. I mean, there's a hell of a lot of reasons to criticise him for the way he left the club, especially as if he was going to be kidnapped he really should have at least had the courtesy to be gagged and blindfolded at some point on the way to Carrington, but saying his heart was never in the club doesn't make sense because he looked like he gave as much of a **** playing for Man Utd as he did for us after all

Two things spring to mind in this picture, this Sampdoria kit was one of the best and how the hell did Souness manage souness.jpg a career with half his left leg missing, I'm sure when Spurs sold him he had the full set

I've often wondered what became of that historic lamp post which served as our first club meeting. Must have been close to this site! I think Spurs aught to put up a lamp post statue in remembrance!!!!!
