People aren't far-right is they support Farage.
I would imagine many Tories got frustrated during Brexit because of all the tricks by MP's to stop it. Calling Tory MP's or supporters far-right won't wash with me. Not all Tory MP's are right-wing... Take Sunak? He could be mistaken for a Labour MP.

Absolutely, but when you see the evidence of how certain MPs were targeted simply for being Jewish there clearly were many in the Party who could not see the difference. Hopefully Starmer will move to sort out this out quickly...
I left the Tory Party after 15 years of membership, partly as a result of their stance on Brexit and how they treated some of the excellent remain leaning Tories, but also because I can't stand Johnson and have no wish to be associated with him. That's partly because he's clearly so happy to adopt Trumpian tactics, but a more significant reason are the overtly racist comments he has made on multiple occasions.
That said, I do think the Labour issue with anti-Semitism is more entrenched within the party, and tied up in ideological belief, than some of the issue we see in the Tory Party. I'd also add that the Tories seem far quicker to expel members when they do something stupid on Twitter etc, whereas Labour under Corbyn seemed to sit on their hands an awful lot. Doesn't excuse some of the issues in the Tory Party, most prominently the election of Johnson as leader.
Neither are perfect, and no large membership organisation should ever be judged on the inevitable fringe members they attract - be that a company, religious group or political party. However, both clearly have work to do.

Many that were that way were in the 40+ age group, clearly they won't change but perhaps the younger ones will when they realise it's the 21st century. If Sunak gets things right he is the future of the Tory Party and if Starmer gets it right the voters will have a better balanced choice than in the previous elections...
He will also be found to have covered-up, especially for 2 friends. That is nailed on. Like you said rather than sort it out he let it go on for too long. The worrying thing was it wasn't hundreds of accusations it was thousands.
Anyway hopefully the actual report will be out and we will see.
For me, the Tories lost one of their best politicians after Boris was elected, when Ruth Davison couldn't bring herself to work with the ****er. She was a big thorn in Sturgeons side, and probably one of the reasons why IndyRef1 didn't get through. She ran the Tory party up here, and they were a strong opposition (unlike Labour, who are almost irrelavent in Scotland now). When big Ruth quit, replaced by the atypical Tory **** Jackson Carlaw (yep, real name) their standing up here totally disappeared, giving free rein to Sturgeon et-al. Richard Leonard, the Labour leader is a wet fish, and as for Willie Rennie the Lib-Dem, he's a total waste.
Scotland is generally a pretty socialist country, which you would expect with large areas of deprevation, and I travel around a lot through work, and see some of the aftermath of what the Tories did up here in the 80s and 90s, and am appalled at how little Westminster cared about them - whilst throwing billions at the South East. I agree with many of the SNPs policies for social inclusion and betterment, but can't vote for them as I don't agree with their stance on Independance - there are many flaws in their argument, but a greater autonomy from Westminster is needed to allow the country to flourish.
If that happened then absolutely.....scum like that (anti semites) should be kicked out of the party quicker than a rat up a drainpipe......I do however question the validity of certain members of parliament, the ‘threats’ they received and the purpose of their claims.
Just my honest opinion but I feel some, like Luciana Berger may have had a vested interest in making Corbyn and a few others out to be bad guys, due to their anti-Israeli beliefs.
Yes, Ruth Davison was/is excellent. Somewhat ironic that the Tories could only stay in power after '17 because of her success. Always admired the way she stood up to May in that period when she was negotiating with the DUP.

I love being self employed, but it carries a big burden, especially in times like these - I've been lucky and have kept trading as my business has been deemed essential, but I've been through some lean times and have lost out at the hand of unscrupulous contract managers in the past...
One of the missus' pals runs an accountancy firm locally, and has said some of her clients are receiving payments already - don't know if this is a Scottish Government scheme, which would be seperate from what you'd be due down there, but looks like some money is coming througb for self employed people if they need it (up here, at least)
I have kept trading and will run out of materials by the end of this week. I have kept trading, not because I'm essential, but rather guidelines saying if you cant work from home then go to work.
