The article says that hope not hate estimated the membership at about a thousand
It was a rubbish article and desperate. Watford maybe right in that a few idiots have joined the party but I don’t for one second believe that article.

I could well believe that Britain first members would be Tory and not labour supporters

The reality is probably somewhere in between. The point really is that the Tories actively moved themselves further to the right to quash the threat of Farage’s party and are openly keen to be seen as hostile towards certain minorities as it plays up to their base. It might be an uncomfortable truth for some but it is a truth.

Actually it was a lot of Labour supporting constituencies that were moaning about immigration especially in the midlands and up north. Tory strongholds around here we’re not as vocal.

Jacinda's poll ratings have jumped to 55%
Elections in September
Labour could rule alone here without needing the usual hangers on to forma coalition
We also have two referendums to vote on
Decriminalisation of cannabis and some sort of euthanasia bill
Hopefully we will get some information on both of those
Would hate to get them all confused in the voting booth

When the Tories have a problem on this scale come back and debate it ... until then this story has come from an ex-senior member of the Labour party. Furthermore, the amount of stories out there about this is shocking.
I have heard of the saying 'no smoke without fire' but this is like one of those bush fires in Australia. No defense. When I mentioned this a while back I was ridiculed. There won't be any ridicule now.

Of course people will be ridiculing your posts...the problem is you have so many on ignore that you won’t see it......and you have the audacity to call people ‘ostriches’

They’ve had a problem on this scale forever. They’re very open about it. It’s not coincidence that thousands of “Britain First” members joined the party recently.

The Tories have always had a racist element to them going back to The National Front who had contacts in the Conservative party via groups like The Monday Club’....history can’t be rewritten

It, like recent, and current Tory scandal can just be ignored especially if you then just bang on about a former leader of the opposition despite often claiming him to be irrelevant

Well more the fool them because once again I called the Jezza thing right. As for people on ignore that is for another debate. However the ones that are indeed on ignore are there because they were more interested in winding up than debating. None of them are QPR so it doesn’t matter.
It will be the same for the ones who spend time name calling or goading.

Funny as a kid I remember the miners and union riots with National front flags. As you say history cannot be rewritten... well actually?

I will respectfully disagree with you that you are/were wrong about ‘Jezza’ and your constant goading of his ‘problem with Jews’ (but we’ve done that to death now haven’t we ?)
Do I assume you also disagree with me on the historic racist links of the Conservative Party......previously to groups like the National Fron, and now to people like Britain First ?

Glad to see I’m off ignore by the way......respect to you for that and let’s both try and be adult in our debates (it’ll never last ;) )

Any photo evidence of that Ellers ? Though I’d agree there could very well of been individual miners who were sympathetic to the Far Right it was never organised.

Probably but I just remember watching on the tv. Big Union Jack with NF in white writing. Unless it meant Nottingham Forest but I doubt it. My mum and Dad were both long time Tories and as a kid i would go along to the Conservative Club and day outs. Never did I see anyone who wasn’t a well dressed and spoken person. Most seem to be high up management types so I don’t recognise peoples descriptions of these weird elements in the membership? Only recently I was part of a Tory chat and once again nothing other than good people. Maybe these far right types live in cities?

I honestly would say that your mind must be playing tricks on you Ellers....the Front would of loved to have infiltrated the miners movement in those times but they would of been annihilated. Though as I said, I’m certain there would of been individual sympathisers.
Do you really think that the NF at the time were all ‘bovver boys’ and skinheads ? Part of the plan, through people like Ian Anderson, were to infiltrate the Conservative party of the time and get their people eventually into places of power where they could have influence. Groups like The Monday Club and various pro South African groups within the party were happy to accommodate and establish these links but skinheads weren’t welcome....you had to dress smart and be polite and play your part. It was all part of the plan.
