I find this thread getting odder and odder. Every day there is some new public link from Saudi dropping hints like bricks that they think the deal is done. People are working themselves into a state though by: a. Inventing deadlines based on nothing by which the deal will definitely be announced; and b. Fretting when the deadline they invented turns out to be just something they invented. Who the **** said anything would happen today ? Unless a bunch of Saudi princes decided they wanted to make themselves look like compete twats, they think it is happening. They are likely to know more than we are.

The Saudis will know more than any UK journalist. If they decide to tweet that it's done then I think it's a case of it is. Then it is just a waiting game.
Don’t you get that feeling though that if this was any club other than Newcastle, this would have gone through by now. I don’t know how every Newcastle fan can’t have a little at least a tiny bit of worry that it won’t go through. Nothing ever goes smoothly for this club.
