Morning all. When we read that in 1066 Britain was invaded by the Normans that does not mean that we were attacked by an army of blokes all called Norman. I hope this information is useful for anyone on the board interested in History.

Hate to be pedantic, WJ (no I don't really) but the Norman name came from Norsmen, Vikings originally settled that part of France.
The thing that I always laugh at is Brian Johnstone trying to stifle a laugh when Johnathon Agnew said Botham had just failed to get his leg over. I've heard it hundreds of times and I still can't help laughing.
