Godders has been the same forever on here. I understand how he can get under your skin. I suggest if you cannot tolerate his offerings you put him on ignore. As Chilks says while he is at times pushing the boundaries he is not technically breaking the rules.

As I say just put him on ignore if he annoys you!

 

I've always thought on here that a swear word automatically seems to be considered an insult whereas as long as you don't swear you can be as patronising and degrading as you want.

Like you, I'd much rather someone be straight and call me a **** than post snide little digs.

I think it's the general attitude of 'Oh it's just gentle old boy Godders, you know what he's like' that people find inconsistent.

 

For sure there’s nowt gentle about him....that’s for sure. His age has nothing to do with it by the way.......just ignore him if he gets under your skin.

 

It's not about getting under skin, it's about people not wanting to be spoken to like that without responding.

No Beddy look above, it's in the forum rules laid down by a mod. He's a troll and it shouldn't be tolerated by the mods.
I don't see why I should put anyone on ignore because they are being obnoxious it's the job of the mods to have a word, not protect them. If I ignore someone it breaks the flow of the thread.

And by saying "he's always like this, it's just his way* " is just accepting someone being disruptive because "they've always been like this*".
