That's better! Enjoy your weekend. At least you can get out and exercise. Here we have to be creative.
You were doing so well before the last line. Every option on how to end this season will, in my veiw be unsatisfactory. However they finish the season if the next one can start on time there would be no need to cancel cups.
Moise Kean appears to have held a house party during lockdown. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52425796
I just don’t get it. Someone who works in a clothes shop is not able to go to work and has to stay at home on 80% income, because it is imperative and critical that we “Stay at Home. Save lives. Save NHS” (the messages I read everyday in front of the government representatives telling us about the situation), but it is important that we find a quick solution to play some football games that will involve potential injury risk, potential gathering of fans near stadiums to glimpse their heroes, emergency services in attendance (police will have to be there as fans turn up) and men getting physical with each other whilst sweat, saliva and other contact will happen. The government should not bother logging in to the meeting and just tell them to **** off.
IMO no football should be played at all until this is all over (just scrap this season).......unfortunately it will be wealth before health........and wealth will win.
UEFA's proposed schedule is beyond ridiculous too. If Rangers were to reach the EL final they would have qualifiers for next seasons comp either side of it.
Yeah, so what if they win the EL and qualify for the CL having already started qualifying for the next EL? Utter mess, this season just needs voiding and starting afresh in Seprember, hopefully.
The terms for approving it should be "No local hospital will treat players or anyone else associated with such events who incur serious injuries as the hospitals at this moment have far more important things to do than treat people who get hurt in what is just a stupid game", Please nobody quote ****ing Shankley's nonsense. Do I want to stay alive or watch a Saints match. Hmmm. That is a no brainer I think.
Not to mention an ambulance with paramedics has to be present at every match. Best thing anyone can do is not watch it. It will completely tragic without any fans present anyway.
Who is the greatest post war British Manager, vote here... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52371056 Cloughie all the way for me because he did it with two unfashionable teams although SAF runs him close.
Same here. I also respect him for going to Leeds Utd and telling them they could throw all their Revie inspired trophies and medals into the bin. Cloughie was an enigma who, along with Peter Taylor, was unbeatable, at his height. My respect for Ferguson is based more on his days at Aberdeen, so clearly he always had the nounce. Same with Bill Shankly who made Liverpool very special from mediocre. It seems to me that it takes a different kind of manager to take over a club with major funds and bring them back, or maintain their greatness. But the ones who make something from virtually nothing, by sheer brilliant management and insight, get my vote.
What Clough did in taking an unfashionable club like Forest to back-to-back European cup wins, with a team comprising many journeymen footballers was really special.
Fergie for me, the way he constantly had to rebuild teams and adapt to the game during periods of huge changes whilst maintaining success was unbelievable. Also seeing off the money of Chelsea and City in that time. That's not even considering his heroics up in Aberdeen either.
