maybe a letter, a bank statement showing contributions or perhaps photo ?

I think the Saudi regime could well be objectively judged to contravene the fit and proper owners criteria, hence the human rights groups who are pointing it out. However, I doubt the PL will want to make that call and take the likely political flack that’d come with it.

BEIN’s claim re: the broadcast rights is the one that might hold the most sway though, as despite not definitively proving the links in the French courts, they must have some tangible evidence that the Saudis are facilitating the illegal broadcasts, and the PL can’t have an owner who’s either condoning or turning a blind eye to illegal transmission of their product.

 

Probably best not to have mentioned this. You could have at least used “I was pissed last night” to mask your stupidity!
