I don't read the Covid 19 thread anymore, as most of the postings there would only depress me more than I am now. On the Wednesday before Easter, the Doctor prescribed some Anti biotics. As I am on max isolation, I had to wait for a friend to pick my prescription up from our local Pharmacy on Friday. ............but behold they were bloody closed, and were closed until the following Tuesday......... I could not believe it, most of the world on Lock down, with people helping each other out,........ an aireline Pilot driving trucks, Fire fighters delivering parcels, Doctors and Nurses coming out of retirement , everybody helping out, ........... But our bloody Pharmacy who should be helping out by supplying people with medicine and drugs, at. such a desperate time refusing to work even a little overtime, and taking a whole 4 days off for Easter. ....... our Pharmacy is called Well. As I am in my eighth week of isolation, I think I am going crackers. I have been talking to myself for a long time, but I am arguing with myself now. The adverts on T.V. are having it now, and whenthat L.V.insurance one comes on, Claiming it is from the heart, I shout lying bastards, its in to your pockets it goes. Even my dog JAX argues with me now,and when that cat next door looked over the wall at me, I told JAX to bloody chase it. He glanced up at me, and slunk in to the other room, and I'm sure he said piss off. I am still taking my cup of coffee back to the fridge instead of the milk. I am giving the " V" Sign to all those sods on T.V. I don't like and telling them to piss off and calling them lying bastards.......... If they took them all off, there would not be many left on. Better leave it there for now, Hope you you can understand what I'm getting at, Hope some of you buggers get self isolated for 8 weeks, then you will be talking to yourselves . P.S. On reflection, I don't think that I am nuts But you lot on here must be crackers. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ? ? ? ? ? ?
Is it safe to come out now, bloody hell Victor you seem to be suffering big time and understandably so , but chin up this isn't forever . As you say most are trying to help each other and yes I'm sure their working hard but their now working in a controlled orderly environment so in some ways people are only attending chemists to pick up prescriptions and not randomly shopping.The trouble if its the same system as with me you know have to phone for a repeat prescription then nominate where its to be picked up and its seems you picked wrongly for that weekend .I'm not being funny or if I'm being rude then I apologise in advance but maybe you should speak to your doctor about how you're feeling , there's no shame in that we all need some help at times. You haven't posted on here for a while and I'm sure you have your reasons but remember you are a valued poster on here and you have been missed so don't be a stranger
I am so sorry, I did not mean for it to be taken so seriously. I should not have included the Pharmasist part of the post with the 2nd part of the post, ........... The 2nd part of my post was an attempt to include a little bit of humor to see if others would take the bait, but looking back , it was a mistake to include it in the same post as the Chemist post., Matthew, Your comments and advice, are very much appreciated, you speak wisely, and I apologise for such a confusing post. Some of the things on T.V. still drive me up the wall, .... I will post on that later....... Anyway for now, all of you have a bloody mad, mad, mad day ! ! ! ! ! ! J

Try 8 weeks with my wife, you'll be glad of the isolation I've been in here with her for 4 or 5 or 6... I've lost count. What year is this? Being mad definitely helps! Keep your chin up
Victor don't panic, yes 2020 is lining up to be the craziest on record for sure, but it may also be one of the warmest on record, so good for chilling in the garden getting some lovely sun, and away from the TV................
I admire your optimism, a nice summer would be most welcome! Of course the idiots will be out and about more in that case also.
