Why has there been **** all chat about this mystery 2nd bid? Is there even a 2nd bid on the ****ing table? **** you keys ya prick!!!
In many ways Newcastle (and Liverpool to a certain extent) is quite different from the rest of the country. Because of geography most people are totally unfamiliar with the city and region, so most people judge the city on stereotypes, folklore and soundbites. Whenever I introduce the city to folk from the southern half of the UK (ie. from Manchester southward), they are astonished to find a beautiful city and lovely countryside. Newcastle United is belittled because people don't understand it. It's so much easier to throw cliches such as 'deluded', 'big club only in Newcastle'. Sometimes we give them anmunition such as the recent Mag article sniping at Amnesty or the awful 'Cockney Mafia Out' placards, but most people are just ignorant of who we are and have no desire to learn - sweeping stereotypes os so much easier.
Absolutely, and I was prepared for being called out. But you're right, Either Mike Ashley or having two kids have made it very difficult to participate more than watching games on TV the last 6 years. But i say again, I hope there is many more like me, because this feeling of "We might actually try" is really exciting.
Might be completely cancelled mate. wait - is this the thread about the takeover or the end of the season?
With names like that that's okay. I'm sure I could only find about 300,000 people who would do it for you!!!
I agree , but my point is really about what I believe to be a shameful use of humans rights to mask their real issue with this .I'd be interested to see what these people have done on a personal level to help fight against the regime and if they've done something or paid money towards fighting for human rights that is fine, but I guarantee not many of these people will be able to provide evidence of it. This isn't just about football it's a history of this area being trodden on and undervalued since birth of parliament, so them seeing this vision of the world football spotlight shining on Newcastle and not down there over the next decade and beyond is a terrifying thought for them and they are proving themselves to be immoral themselves.
Great interview Joey. Saying what we all think about Mike. https://anchor.fm/footballCFB/episo...stle--Mike-Ashley-and-life-at-the-Toon-ecssmk
