Mate, the Saudis won't give a flying **** about the arseholes. I went on news now yesterday. What a pile of ****e being spouted through various outlets. Various outlets that none of the parties involved in the takeover will have the slightest concern about.
I think this shows that nobody is clear on timelines but we all need to sit tight. It could be simply that the PL has sent out requests for information (a formal requirement) and hasn't got all replies back and collated. Like I've said before, you don't go through this process as a bidder unless you're confident that it will go through the formal requirements.
It's probably more about wives and girlfriends than players. I remember many years ago we transferred an exciting player from Edinburgh. He never got going because his wife had never wanted to move and it was causing matrimonial strife from the outset. He only stayed about 9 months.

Some of these football 'journalists and experts' are remarkably dense (Rio Ferdinand, Merson). Others appear to be immoral and unpleasant (Keys, Collymore). Some take a more intelligent, balanced approach like Gary Neville, Nevin, Lineker and Crooks. Moronity is widespread in football so it's no surprise that fools listen when idiots speak.
