    <laugh> League one is LITERALLY below the premier league, of course we look down on that achievement. Our squad would smash that league.

    What you said about winning more games in the lower leagues is a fair point, and a lot of saints fans will agree with you there.

    But we went to the San Siro and beat Inter at home, those sort of memories will linger for a long time.

    I kind of did want us to win the Championship, and still resent Reading for stealing up on the rail the way they did. But yeah, promotion was always the important prize.

    I was gutted at the time as I know a fair few reading fans. But I couldnt care less based on what's happened since. Beating them in the premier league was glorious. Didnt we beat them home and away? <cheers>

    He is a big boy and he knows the very silly game being played. He could of course just ignore us as we revel at their expense in the memory of a most emphatic victory.

    He comes on here behaving all forlorn (should that be all fourl0rn) and you offer him sympathy.

    I seem to recall their "I for one" postings that went on for months and months.
