Bruce to be given til the end of the season.

Makes sense, he is popular with the players and absolutely anything we can do to ease the transition is good.

Providing the season continues. Otherwise he's out.

He's popular with a few players, a lot of players don't like him.

I don't think he's popular with higher end players. Just seems slapdash and all about banter/friendliness.

I've not heard any praise for him. Seems like a decent bloke for a pint, but a ****ing useless manager. I think Sky Sports are wrong here. If we have a chance of getting Pochettino, or Rafa returns, there's zero point in keeping Bruce.

if he stays they waste 200 million and may even go backwards.

They have to understand he's a symptom of the Ashley era. I mean, it doesn't take any effort to find that out. The only thing I can think of is that they'd be worried about appointing from abroad with 9 important games to go, potentially being played at St George's. This would certainly rule out Rafa (no bad thing). Funnily enough the best candidates are unemployed - Poch and Allegri. Only Nagelsman comes close.

I just stopped and thought. This is ****ing surreal. Many of us here have been bickering and moaning online together since the Shepherd days. Friendships have been formed alongside many of the arguments.13 years of Mike Ashley, with a journey that included Joe Kinnear, Dennis Wise, Alan Pardew and a cast of other ****ers and lunatics are at an end. Before another ball is kicked, this club will be completely transformed - no more Ashley, no more Charnley, progressive plans, a fit-for-purpose coaching team, facilities being renovated, decent players being targeted.

It's going to be mental.

I can't fecking wait. I remember being heartbroken when Keegan left (the first time!). Actually had hope when Ashley took over. And again when Rafa agreed to join. Disappointment after disappointment. Just hope this time is different.

You do remember which Club it is that we support, don’t you?
