I didn't want him, and we've seen some shocking performances this season. We've also seen some good ones though and have got a few points that I never thought we would get.

He's done a difficult job reasonably well in very testing times. He's stuck with Joelinton for reasons I don't get, but he has been hamstrung with few other options.

If all goes well I'd guess he'll be replaced, and I can only wish him well for putting himself through this Ashley-manufactured toxic zone and coming out of it with a job done outcome.

We never had a lot to spend.
We would spend what the club generated, but that was never going to be enough to be successful.

Which means it WASN'T run greatly! Otherwise we would have generated far more commercial revenue, to help grow the club. Instead of whoring the club off to be a Sports Direct advert.

Keeping the books tight, while not investing in growth and "running the club greatly" are not neccessarily the same thing Brucey.

He and Ashley were well suited. Quite telling that he was gone as soon as owners with some ambition showed up.
