I don't think that'll sound too appealing for the players tbf. Not the players you want anyway, but yeh the mercenaries will come.

 

Being perfectly honest, if Newcastle are to be as rich as people speculate (and of course, I have my doubts,) the rule MUST exist. It may need to be reworked or pushed harder, but you cannot see the sport survive if a few teams are as rich as they're becoming.

Nations controlling football clubs for PR will kill the sport.
