Is it really worth rushing back to normality only to go back into lockdown if it flares up again. So basically the public are the Guinea pigs to test out this theory. Oh dear.
I'm expecting a pretty big jump in tomorrows figures. The w/ends are not precise, and add a bank holiday and that just makes a load of guess work.
South Korea has reported that at least 116 people initially cleared of the new coronavirus have tested positive again. ------------- Woah, game changer. How on earth do 6.8bn people end a pandemic that can be transmitted multiple times.
Obviously, I don't have first hand info, but to me it seems a little Are you saying they had it and were tested as clear of the virus, or are you saying they tested negative first time round? The former is a horrific scenario, the latter is understandable.
Are you saying they had it and were considered clear of the virus ===================== Gulp. They had it, recovered, and contracted it again.
Actually, I did lol. I was only 20 though and stupid. And drunk most the time. Hey ho, life doesn't change when you hit 50
I did as well, oddly enough. Tackled from behind in a Sunday morning league. Useless ref didn’t even give me a free kick. Tried to play on, but gave up after a few minutes, then limped around work for a couple of days, before going to the doctor who said it was bruising. Received another whack on the same leg, when standing up on a moving bus, which took me back to the same level of discomfort as when it first happened. Went to A&E this time and it was a broken fibula.
Construction and manufacturing isn’t it? And if I heard correctly, starts in 2 weeks, so maybe the figures by then will be better. In theory the builders on construction sites might be kept away from the general public, but they are still likely to mix with locals near the building sites as they will head to the local supermarkets for food and refreshments. Plus will they observe social distancing? Manufacturing companies will have to make sure social distancing takes place, but can they? Much will depend on the configuration of the workplace I guess.
