l’ve just come off a large job ( 7 months ) a week ago and have no inquiries, no prospects.... absolute squat to be precise. I’m normally booked in advance ( a lot less than before my fraudster issue ) but l, like probably most tradies here have nothing coming up. Pretty bleak to be honest. Can’t get any govt benefits that are being offered but l know there are many worst off than myself. l really feel for families with young children who must be going nuts locked up.
Doesn't it come from the government? If the guidelines (are they laws now?) that the police are being asked to enforce aren't sensible, they are going to look stupid in doing so. How is a woman sitting alone on a bench by the river causing any harm? How are three people from the same household sitting on the grass in a park doing any harm? Why should I be restricted to one daily exercise outing, or one weekly shopping trip (for essentials only), if I can do these things safely? Wash your hands a lot and try not to get within six feet of other people for a while. That should suffice.
