Well they do say the proof of the pudding is in the eating... Oops, I appear to have put my foot in it again
As Mrs Jammy appears to have joined a nunnery it's rather a mute point. However previous recipients were very complimentary
Moot point, my dear boy, moot point! Did your time at public school teach nothing? If you had spent more time attending English classes instead of putting your knob in a pig's mouth .....
Interesting item - shirt sponsors. I recently had an opportunity to buy the genuine replica Kappa shirts for the current season - white and grey, without the shirt sponsor on it. I don't buy/wear shirts that have the sponsor on it. I asked a number of fans that I know if they wanted one and only a couple did. One who did not said that he believed that while most people may not like the sponsor, they would only want a shirt that looked like the shirt being worn by the players. I never expected that.
Good point Jonny, Ask fans what shirts are their favourites, answers will be the smiley one and then stuff like, the strongbow shirt etc. I guess its easier to define.
Easier to define, yes, but I prefer to wear one without the ad. Many don't share that preference, apparently.
Agreed to many of us a 'clean' shirt is much nicer. However some prefer it, and so do the sponsers, marketing boys. Thats why the deals are worth so much, something you obviously know.
Yes as I was typing it didn't feel right and so was going to check it... However the 6 beers and and a fine bottle of St Emillion Grand Cru decided feck it
