Same with Uni. I continued to play back at home on weekends though. Never been to Hallam but looks a tidy little ground. Not to forget Stocksbridge too, they made our Vards!

just continued to play sheffield area slowly moving down in standard until my knee gave in in my early 30’s. Was told I would miss it and should have made a comeback after having it cleaned out. Decent over 40’s league, but I don’t miss it one bit.
Salford City, League 2 club, decided not to furlough their staff as the owners knew that it would look like a ****ish thing to do given they’re rich. That saved them the humiliation of having to reverse a really ****ish decision.
Having Spurs criticised by some in the forum world, then thinking it is acceptable when well ran clubs like Liverpool take that decision has soured the actions of others. I am sure that Liverpool backtracking on this will get universal approval and see them made PL 2020 backtrack champions elect, even if no more backtracking takes place this year
It's great. We were the first to announce using the furlough route, not a sign of a back track and we aren't getting any **** about it as everybody expects it from the twat. Well I definitely won't be paying my 35quid Magpie Club fee next season. That will ****ing show him.
Their statement says they've no intention of asking anyone (including players) to take a drop in wages either
Makes no odds if the players accept a wage reduction, the max they can claim is £2500 per month. ****ing awful decision, but I’d imagine their debt and bad management has crippled them over recent years.
