****ing hell, call me old fashioned but wouldn’t a medic with serious misgivings about the treatment paradigm for a disease communicate these concerns via professional channels rather than stick them on YouTube with no guarantee that his medical colleagues will see it but a 100% certainty that those members of the general public prone to doubt all sorts of things will see it and spread it? I note that he has no alternative treatment. He looks like a scared boy who can’t cope with what he is experiencing and who can blame him for that? I think it’s 7 days for the person showing the symptoms from when they started showing them and 14 days for others in the household, even if you think you had it before. But I’m no expert. Important for your wife if she want to get back to the Marsden.
Maybe he is. I wouldn’t know where to look, or assume I could access to check. Interesting though, what he’s saying.
As you know I don't normally buy into this stuff however he came across as a fella that has been working long hours and wanted to vent his frustration. I don't see what's wrong with using YouTube as it gets it out there quicker than if he reported it. I also don't think that he could use professional channels as they may tell him to shut up. But what do I know... it could fake
Would you sign a piece of paper saying you would not want to be aggressively ventilated based on what he is saying? I would, if it was backed up by a proper comparative, blinded clinical trial.
I don’t think we’ll ever find out, but would be very interesting to find out for sure how many of these people would of died anyway, and just happened to of had COVID-19. I’m guessing there will be more than a few who are under palliative care etc and COVID-19 had no influence on their death......., but I just think we might never know.
It's encouraging but we had a low figure last Monday, then it went up. May need to ask Staines this one but I wonder as it's a weekend it may make a difference?
On the telly yesterday they said that some deaths don’t get recorded over the weekend, and the big jump could be tomorrow. We are still a week plus away from the peak, in the first wave.
I wouldn’t think so. We usually get more assaults and alcohol related incidents at weekends but obviously not so now.
Not yet, but is that the point? If he’s credible, which to my untrained eye he seems to be, and he’s got serious doubts about treatment methods, I’d hope there would at least follow some conversation, wouldn’t you?
