None of the ones tested work sufficiently. This explains the delay and why they are right to not use them.
No, they said they needed to be tested first. There was nothing triumphant. They have also only potentially ordered them pending testing.
It's not what was originally said but it's totally reasonable and understandable that they are not being used. Remember Boris saying they would be available next week (3 weeks ago). That was never the case, obviously. Handjob has 3.5m of the best tests in the world! That isn't the case, obviously.
Then you shouldn't really accuse him without the full facts Bob. I get that people are frustrated... I am, I want to go back to work. I have a fab contract job in London and want to be there but sadly I am stuck indoors. Trust me the government want this over as quickly as possible and will want us all back at work as soon as they can.
That TV Professor said the government are not scientists and they know 2222 about this. They rely on scientists and health experts and just make political decisions. That's why I won't be knocking anyone because it's far too early to start blaming especially when people don't have the full facts.
Oh of chatting ****? Well we either have 3.5m of the best antibody tests in the world or we have 3.5m tests that are dodgy as ****. Maybe, just maybe he should have said we have 3.5m antibody tests. We dont know how good they are so we wont comment further at this stage.
Mate, I totally agree. These tests have been a nightmare for all, especially the government. They will probably get criticized when all the facts are in. Even a scientist said today regarding the testing and chemicals... "what's the hold up". To be fair I don't think Hancock has a scooby about most of this and is learning on the job daily.
She's fine thanks lads, she had a cough and some tightness in her chest about ten days ago, other than a sporadic cough she's well. Like a few on here who mentioned that they felt ill and wondered if they've already had it, that may well be the case. I was ill just after the new year and thought it was man flu. I had the hacking cough and felt like crap for a few days and then it subsided. I had a sleight fever but nothing too drastic. Same with my wife a few weeks after. My family ( my wife and two daughters ) have been in isolation for over two weeks and suspect we've all had it.
I think you are right. We are all looking for the slightest bit of light at the end of this tunnel. These antibody tests, short of a vaccine are the only thing that will stop us entering a new tunnel when this first one is coming to an end. That or of course just open the floodgates, which the NHS wouldn't be able to deal with.
So he was never actually confirmed as having COVID-19 ?Just that his Dr friends said he had classic symptoms ? (I might of missed the confirmation somewhere so please forgive me)
