I didn’t know anyone had suggested you could only exercise with one family member?

It's shameful. Think of the poor orphans that don't have a family member, so they can't exercise. :emoticon-0106-cryin <peacedove>

I don’t know. Patients get moved round a lot. I live in Leicestershire, the numbers in the county are higher than the city but I know patients are in the city hospitals. They are also getting patients from Derbyshire and Warwickshire too in Leicester horsepiddles. Maybe they report where the person is from as the location?

If thats true Chillo and I dont doubt you at all... they should be publicly shamed... and I hope the poor magistrate who deals with them looks beyond how troubled a home life they have. It will never happen, but anyone damning this situation getting locked up should have to wear pink so every one inside knows they're a waste of oxygen.

So having had a little read through it, it still all seems so bloody vague.

sec 7, states 2 people from different households can meet, so bang goes the social distancing idea.

What is the actual harm in going out for a drive, take a bit of pack up with you and go for a drive out as long as social distancing is still been implemented, it's no different to going to walk the dog in a park, you don't even have to leave your car, but the change of scenery and just getting out of the house for an hour or so or meeting a few friends for a bbq, just keep more than 2 metres away from each other, its still no different.

I'm not saying we should all do this, just the only way to avoid it, is to go full lockdown.

This virus is serious stuff and nobody really knows what the best action is. Wouldn't be so bad been stuck at home, IF you could get the usual diy stuff to crack on with jobs around the house that we never get round to doing, would also keep the missus happy.

The price of fence paint on FB Marketplace has gone through the roof..(then you have to hope its your next door neighbour selling it... B and Q have nothing, zero, nada, even if they did you meet you in the car park click and collect outside... Amazon have nothing, E Bay is a jungle...maybe theres a world wide shortage of paint now...

7(2) says you can only meet from different households for very specific reasons (work, funerals etc)
It doesn’t just say you can meet regardless

Pfft, fence painting is just so last year. I made a wall out of all the toilet rolls I've got.

A lot of the facebook selling groups have shut down, which is a good thing, i was amazed at the sheer amount of people still selling everything you could think of and the total disregard to the actual bans put in place.

Its going to a get a lot harder for some people to cope, older people (my parents) that are stuck in and cant see the gran-kids its not easy for them, but also younger ones that can't see their mates. I know for a fact when my daughter takes dog out for a bloody long walk that she meets her boyfriend as he goes for a run at the same time, BUT they do keep to the distance rule and i trust them 100% on that, they're not young teens.

Unfortunately I don't think this would shame them, nor embarrass them, just make them have more hatred towards general society and to double their efforts to punish it/us for their own life situation and insecurities.

Having done some mentoring for youths who behave like this, if you really want to change them, you're better off showing an interest in their life and taking them fishing/to a restaurant/day trip etc. and showing them that society has more to offer them and that they can contribute, rather than be on a downward cycle with their immediate peer group. Initial reaction is to punish, but sadly, it rarely helps long term. Just my personal experience of this speaking here.

As most people that die have an underlying condition, I'm surprised one of the less honest countries hasn't produced a kind of placebo test, declared everyone healthy as the 'tests' are clear, declared panic over, and signed off the future death certificates as being a consequence of the condition, flu or pneumonia.

Sorry I see what you mean and you’re right, but I think the point is that you need to read each paragraph in relation to the others
Section 6 has already said you can’t leave your house unless for a reasonable excuse so I read it as if you’re exercising on your own you could stop and speak to someone else exercising on their own, but I suppose the question would be whether your reason for going out was to meet them? (In which case probably not allowed?)
You only ever know what laws mean when someone gets taken to court for it

    Good point though.
