Southall and Nimer are undoubtedly the worst owners we've ever had. Worse than Gliksten, the Spivs, Douchatelet, the well-intentioned Mark Hulyer. The only people who've bought the club with destructive, possibly criminal, intentions. As I see it, our only hope of surviving them lies with the ex-directors. That's what I'm clinging to.
As far as I know, it didn’t happen. Dodger facilitated a meeting between Rich Cawley & Jonathan Heller, but I believe this has also been delayed on legal grounds. Southall is clearly not going to hold his hands up & be truthful to any fan when he still believes that he is in with a chance of a pay off.
The fact that both Nimer and Southall have gone quiet smells of the pair of them in on this flanker together.
Absolutely. No good them trying to bullsh1t their way out like this. The Law of Joint Enterprise. They are soulmates.
In answer to a question aimed at Everitt last night, his reply was that he thought Charlton would go into administration by May. Very worrying given his knowledge and contacts.
Small consolation, but we won't be alone. By the summer I should think a couple of dozen Clubs will have gone under. And that's just from the EFL leagues (tiers 2 to 4).
There will be carnage at Park Football level... I can see 10+ clubs folding in non league and up to 5 folding at League level. but football is not going to be the only industry to suffer .. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52098436 but football is probably one of the few industries where the business model is such that 90% of participants lose large amounts of money, 5% break even and 4% make a small profit and 1% make a normal profit... madness and a better economic model needs to be found.
Careful there AHLL, you're beginning to sound like a certain Belgian progressive politician and businessman...
Another week passes without Nimer being able to demonstrate proof of funds. Funny how that Bassini lie disappeared almost as quickly as it appeared. The club is on the brink of a major financial meltdown- it could happen as soon as the next seven days. Have we got any staff left to furlough ? Can you furlough the manager & players ? We could be the first club to try.
Airman Brown March 30 edited March 30 rememberbillybonds said: I respect Airman as very close the club and being realistic. Do you agree this is the end for the club? Very dangerous situation. I think the odds are on the club going into administration during April or May - what happens after that is impossible to say.
