Given that there is no sport on tv at the moment, I'm running out of podcasts to fill in the time..

I like listening to Open All R's (once a week) but am struggling to find others that retain interest. TalkSport Daily has some appeal as does the LoftCast. Can we use this to share recommendations?

I've tried EFL podcast (ok), Beautiful Game (Hmmm although the Sir Les interview was ok), SkySports EFL podcast and even Running down the Uxbridge Road.

Your suggestions may fill my sleepless nights. My night flu medicine suggests it may cause drowsiness - i hope so but it hasn't so far

Am open to non sport suggestions but stopped listening to crime podcasts - I do actually want to sleep

    Athletico Mince.

Loosely football based, but in reality mad flights of fancy from Bob Mortimer and Andy Dawson. Love it or hate it experience, and you won’t waste much time deciding which side of the fence you stand on.

The Peter Crouch podcasts can be very amusing too.

Hawksbee & Jacobs, the Talksport duo have the best and most varied sports programme around, always have interesting guests from a wide variety of sports, arts, music, comedy and the unusual...

Have a go at 'Second Tier Podcast,' which as the title suggests is all about the Championship.

I'd second the Peter Crouch suggestion.

You can do a lot worse than going through the Desert Island Discs archive and picking people who interest you, and I do the same for the moral maze.

Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster is also very good - blend of comedy and food.

I'd third the Peter Crouch podcast...had me doing that awkward thing where you realise you are laughing out loud on public transport.

Thank you. Very amusing... as polarising as Vic Reeve’s Big Night Out from the early 90s. Will try Peter Crouch too

Elis James and John Robins are very funny. Well I find them so, anyway.

That Peter Crouch podcast is funny, the 2 blokes from the BBC can be a bit annoying but overall it’s not bad

Peter Crouch is good, thanks for that. Funnier than Flintoff, Savage and the Ping Pong guy

    Not really, they're just random.

If you like films, the Kermode and Mayo review show is very good.

No Such Thing as a Fish - podcast by the QI research team

Infinte Monkey Cage - Brian Cox and Robin Ince, different science theme each time but quite light and fairly funny if the comedy guest is good.

The Adam Buxton Podcast is great, there are **** loads of them so scroll through and choose a guest you're interested in.

Do The Right Thing - a panel show, just like the tv ones, but a podcast, obviously. I think it's pretty funny.

Hip Hop Saved my Life - Romesh Ranganathan's podcast, good guests, great if you're a hip hop head.

How to burn a million quid - a funny look at how the KLF pulled off one of the craziest stunts in music history, flying to a remote Scottish island and setting fire to £1M as a publicity stunt.

It's fairly niche I'll admit, it's six 30min episodes, but it is amusing.

Didn’t want to start a new thread. The latest Open All Rs podcast had an interview with Neil Warnock. A lot of the conversation was around the 2010/2011 season and was genuinely a good listen. Even if some of the stories have become better with age, still enjoyed it.
Worth a listen as was the Ultimate 11 episode.

Quickly Kevin, the 90s football podcast is by far my favourite though I also like the Guardian one with Max Rushden and Brian Glendinning.

QK has been going a few years so there are dozens of episodes almost all funny. The reviews of Steve Bruce’s books are too funny to listen to on a run.
