Another positive. Listened to Charlie Nicholas this morning discussing where football could end up after all this. He highlighted one perfect example. Scum were lining up to sell pogba for something around 100m. Nicholas reckons hell now be worth only a fraction of that. Seems next season and after could be very much a leveled playing field. Would suit the teams with best genuine coaches rather than ones with biggest pockets. Leeds to benefit in that case more than most I would think

    Perhaps...but,

As our undoubtably world class coach has only 9 matches left on his contract (and even that may be debatable) we should be cautious and a little concerned for the future. Marcelo may decide that being home in Argentina with his family takes presedent next season given the health crisis engulfing the world. In fact he may decide to return to Argentina in the near future and take all his coaching staff with him.

Won't concern many on here...most wanted him sacked about 6 weeks ago.

By the way, where is everyone ?

Thought the forum would be a good place to pass some time and exchange pleasantries or otherwise...obviously not.

Guess no one wants to talk football and understandably so but there is plenty of other stuff to debate surely.

Who knows. Likely poorer clubs will suffer the most anyway. Doubt anyone will be bothered about ffp for many a season

It seems every one of our players has improved under Bielsa.

So the big question is; will they be able to maintain their new performance levels under a different coach ?

Bielsa might fancy a run at the pl if we make it especially if the playing field has leveled somewhat

Pretty sure that was in his thinking...now I would suggest it's possible he may be reconsidering.

Hopefully not, but he must be missing his home and family at this extremely difficult time.

Following on from yesterdays posts about domestic bliss was just wondering if there have been any changes since lockdown ?

By which I mean, if usually the other half does the cooking, cleaning and washing/ironing etc and you do f*** all has there been a more equal distribution of household chores if you're both now at home all day ?

Seems most of you must be busy running the vacuum around and having a good spring clean given the lack of activity on the board :emoticon-0103-cool:

So far I've managed to ignore Mrs Jammy's withering looks whilst muttering something about bloody emails etc etc.

Well I do most of the washing up because I do it properly, where as she leaves bits of food on the cutlery, which drives me mental. The only thing I don't do is cleaning the bathroom. FFS Jammy has it got that bad that I'm now talking about domestic chores<laugh>
