Do you have any claim to fame? Been on TV, in the paper or on Google Earth (@@St Badger ?) or an interview with the Telegraph (@@Le Tissier's Laces ), crimewatch etc.
Daughter was Miss Southampton. She also finished 5th in Miss England that year. Same year she went out two or three times with a famous ex-Saint, ex-Spurs and current Real Madrid footballer (he actually came round to pick her up and watched an episode of the apprentice at our house), but said he wasn't for her as he was too chavvy....

Have you had any notable achievments? Can be anything. Climbed Everest, sporting, an award, academic, charity etc
Made it through 50 years so far by enjoying my life and acting like a 20 year old and hopefully being a nice guy.

Do you know or have you met a famous person?
Had three or four beers with Chris Pratt & Anna Faris (just before they were married..literally just before in Bali 2009 as they were at my cousin's wedding).
Matt Le Tissier said "Hi Mark" when he last met me :)
Daughter's old neighbour is Tyrone Hill (US NBA player) and her current best friend is his wife. I have beaten him at Pool on more than one occasion and he really wasn't happy. The competitive spirit that he got beat by a drunk Brit that could hardly hold the cue was hilarious.

EDIT: Forgot, this is my great, great grandfather https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ernesto_Cesàro

Have you been to a football ground outside of England (not Wales)? Which ones?
    San Siro & Nou Camp

Have you seen Saints play abroad?
    San Siro

Have you ever broken a bone? How did you do it?
    Leg.

5th May 1990. Said on May 4th (Star Wars day) that I have never broken a bone in my body. I was singing Karaoke on a stage - singing Fame by Irene Cara in a long black wig and did a backflip off stage during the instrumental break. I had never done a back flip before, or since. I did carry on singing like a true pro. It was also the Bank Holiday weekend and the weekend the Leeds fans smashed up Bournemouth. I ended up in casualty with marauding Leeds fans singing "We are Leeds, we are Leeds". I asked a guy how he got the crack on his head and he replied "My mate threw a brick at me hahahah"....

In what decade were you born? What decade would you have liked to be born?
1960s (just). Probably the Early 90s, but with my experience of life.
Life is so short and I want to be here as long as I can

Which foreign country visited have you liked the most?
Italy, Italy & Italy. Though that is expected.

    What is/was your occupation?
    IT Infrastructure Architect

    Do you have a tattoo?
Nope, would love one, but I change my mind so often, it would be dangerous to have something indelible on my body.

Anything else you would like to tell us that I've missed out? A funny story, something bad, sad or mad?

I have a couple of expressions that I live by:

A bad day on the beach is better than a good day at work
It's not worth the trouble unless it is a double.
    :)

As a true connoisseur of dumb, dangerous ideas (I'm approximately 30% scar tissue at this point), I'm in awe of this.

Actually broken in two places, a clean break half way up my calf and a fracture on the ankle. The fracture still causes me issues now in the bad weather.

Public service announcement to all you under 30:

Be careful when you are drunk as it will bite you in your 50s....

I’m 30 and get problems from some of my old injuries already. Buzzing for 50

I started counting number of fractures/breaks earlier, got bored after reaching about 35 so gave up. Admittedly those include all my fingers and multiple toes at various times so not quite as badass as it sounds

I've been exceptionally fortunate: most of my injuries involved blood and not broken bones (or torn ligaments), and I've somehow avoided blood poisoning from my somewhat primitive self-administered medical treatments. But I have plenty of little reminders...if only I could remember what half of them were reminding me of.

Strangely, I get a slight smile when my leg gives me a bit of pain. Almost like "oh yeah, I was Irene Cara and danced like a kid from Fame...badly" :)

Some of my scars have a similar effect. A lot of them are just mundane testaments to my idiocy, but there are plenty that contain memories. I have a scar/lump across the bridge of my nose that reminds me of a close childhood friend that I have lost touch with (he accidentally hit me in the nose with something; might've broken it, as it's a bit off-centre these days), a big bump on the inside of my lip to commemorate another (we played hockey with a golf ball; I was the goalie, and had no mask) and another above my eye that reminds me of my oldest friend (she threw something at me; I ducked and split open my eyebrow bouncing my head off a chair).

Some people get tattoos to chronicle their journey through life; I get open wounds.
