Think Freebird is the correct one for that. Fake Plastic Trees - never hear of the song but certainly fits the bill.
You are probably right. I suspect Chippy doesnt have the answers anyway. Will do an updated summary when I have time.
Not sure if that's a fire starting at the base of the house on the hill. If it is then Talking Heads's Burning Down the House.
Sigh. One of my favourite songs from my teens. Depressing admittedly but High and Dry (track 3) followed by Fake Plastic Trees (track 4). Awesome stuff.
The Bends is probably my favourite album. Many contenders for best song but I marginally prefer High and Dry to be honest. Good shout though.
Can't say I've really listened to Radiohead since their fourth album was released, but The Bends was my favourite.
Could be 'Clocks', but 'Time after Time' seems more appropriate as 1) the timepieces aren't obviously clocks, 2) show different times one after the other, and 3) it's probably a more famous song.
Considering the type of bands already mentioned could the diamonds in the sky relate to the Beatles song? Can't remember the name but it's something like Lucy in the diamond sky?
