Lets hope he's able to successfully isolate himself indoors.

I hate the thought of him being dead in a ditch

Boris and Health Secretary, Matt Hancock, both have mild cases of the virus, reportedly - OK fair do's hope they recover soon, though I thought given that mild cases are not being tested ? Unless your Royalty, Wealthy, or Famous ...

The testing is essential for front line NHS staff - and they're not currently getting any whatsoever!

Just been advised by work that I am on Furlough leave from 1st April. I know hundreds of thousands are worse off than me but a 20% reduction in income, as the sole earner for disabled wife and three young kids, is a bit frightening. Anyone know of any council tax relief yet? Bugger

The very same people running the country who were telling/demanding people distance from one another whilst others in the background were passing things around ?

The people running the country who have shut parliament to distance yet let none essential businesses carry on as it's good for they economy.

Aye they are special needs arl reet ;)

Despite being one of the worlds richest countries, our per capita or GNP, spend on Health and Social Care is one of the lowest of comparable nations.

10 years ago Banks and Bankers royally screwed up and were bailed out by us. The government then starved the NHS, Social Care, Education etc of funds to pay off the cost of bailing out the financial community.

Atm, we have too few hospitals, ICUs, medical staff and carers after 10 years of cuts.

It is hardly surprising therefore we have a shortage of PPE , ventilators and testing kits...that would held to fight the Coronvirus.

Although royalty and politicians can be tested, but not health workers.

Bonko now has covid 19, now if Trump, Putin and the fat dwarf in N Korea all caught it as well..the world might end up a better place.

I think it's understandable that the PM should be tested, no issue with that, but I do have an issue with Charles getting a test and front line health workers still waiting. My daughter is a nurse and I am scared s4ittless for her and that big eared twat gets a test and my daughter hasn't yet. But its not surprising

The banks must surely have a few bob stashed away . Now would be a good time for them to say “ you helped us in our time of need”

I'm a civil servant working for the MOD but i am stuck at home as classed as not a key worker. I could do some work from home if I had the laptop facility, alas in our area there is not enough to go round. I wouldn't argue if they took 20% off me.

Aye. Thought I might get away with it but they are culling 50% of the staff. Feet up for two months then although the Mrs will now get her DIY/house sorting head on.

    Further to my post above...

The Guardian has just splashed a story claiming that when Jeremy (c) Hunt was health secretary his dept got some expert cttee to change their recommendation about buying more PPE and stock piling for any virus outbreak.

This is the same Jeremy (c)unt who has in the past week had a go at Bonko (who of course beat him in the leadership contest) for the NHS not having enough PPE...

I’m classed as a ‘key worker’ but have been told to self isolate for 14 days as I had cold symptoms and a temperature.

5 days into 14 and I’m going stir crazy. I’m a busy human and I’ve excess energy that I can’t use.

2 months sounds awful. It’s fine if you can go out and do things.
