Excuse me, look at the silly posts to my serious problem. With the exception of Mr Lardiman and FHB.

 

The US is heading full on towards mass deaths.

I have defended the Donald in the past, but this crisis has well and truly exposed his limitations.

 

At a press conference recently he stated that the Coronavirus could be cured by drinking a chemical found in fish tank cleaner. One couple drank some because of this, the husband died quickly, his wife is critical because she managed to throw up most of the substance.

 

Ok serious reply if it continues try acupuncture, I was a non believer until I couldn’t bare the pain any longer , had two treatments and touch wood it’s never returned

kind of agree. as a runner who's been out, i've found the most problematic people are those with dogs on stretchy leads. i've been running on grass, verges and woodland edges to try and give people 2 metres, but i get the impression some people just dont give a f**k.

 

The CHancellor's help for the self-employed will benefit those who declare their income. Those who fiddle their tax returns and only take cash in hand will miss out, and there's not a thing they can do about it.

I know our Government has made mistakes. Their handling of the crisis has not been text-book perfect.

But there is a vast amount of hindsight being employed on Question Time tonight.
Plenty of disdain and judgmental comment being offered by people who haven't had to cope with organising the response themselves.

It's very easy to lounge in a chair in a TV studio and make smart-alec remarks.
None of the people in that studio are running out of toilet roll or paracetamol.
And none of them have to go to work on the tube in order to put bread on the table.

If the Government had done what those QT smartarses thought it should do,
they would still be sitting there tonight damning the Government for doing exactly what they are damning it for not doing.

There is a fine line between legitimate criticism and defeatism.
Undermining the Government in time of War to score party political points is unpatriotic and disloyal.
Emily Thornberry should be ashamed of herself.
