But seeing as you're over 60, look after yourself mate

 

You might not listen to the politicians, you might not listen to news broadcasters, you may not listen to other people...

but at least listen to the nurses and doctors on the front line, the very people that having been doing their job for decades, the very people that are trying to save people's lives, there message is loud and clear, it's only three words....'STAY AT HOME'

That message is not just for the elderly, as one asked, where are your children right now, if you don't know, why don't you know!

I’m nowhere near 60.

The way I see it is this. The World is going to need virus-resistant blokes like me to help repopulate the Planet. So, in a way, I’m something of a saviour and a hero. One that’s going to breed with your wives and daughters, when you’ve died.

I don’t expect any gratitude.

I was reading an article about one of the people who caught it here and your symptoms sound exactly like he described during the early stages of the illness.

Just been speaking to work collegues in india. Gujarat is on lockdown until at least 31/3.

I was really impressed with the actions taken tbh. All public transport closed and all roads in and out of major cities closed, anyone coming in is put in isolation for 14 days.

Yesterday the whole of india shutdown, the purpose was to kill any virus left on surfaces so it didnt get transmitted to others and therefore break some of the infection chains.

In a country like india it's going to be really tough to control this, if not impossible.

My youngest lad had exactly the same symptoms, right down to the aches in his calves.

Over the last couple of hours, I’ve noticed that my body temperature has risen, and there is some warmth to my brow. Both my eyes now ache, but not excessively, at this stage.

In all truth, I hope this is the virus, because I’d rather get it over and down with, and then be able to assure people that it’s nothing to worry about.

 

I’ve been taking high doses of vitamin C for the past week, in the hope of giving my body the best chance of fighting anything nasty.

I was hoping you were going to ask how long the symptoms lasted so I could respond with "Just up until he died".

Just goes to show that the saying "Never work with children , animals or old guitar players" has some truth in it.

All that matters is the pumping it takes to make that trickle happen.

I’m pleased to report that the pumping is still as good as it ever was. Better, in fact, as I seem to pump harder to get anything so much as a trickle, let alone a spurt.

 

If my lad did have the virus, the chances are he caught it at school, and that most of the 800 kids at his school had or have it.

with those kids having been sent home, the chances are that most of the households in my area will now have the virus.

I doubt that my area is unique in this.
