My son is in Germany just now - flying home tonight. He`s been in a shipyard working on a new cruise ship. He doesn`t think they are doing anything significantly different to us, may be just with more discipline.

They are testing a lot more people, so it makes the death rate look lower. Most other places are only testing extremely ill patients, but I believe Germany are testing everyone they can?

Cummings is a eugenicist who has also been described as a “career psychopath”. Makes it hard to take it as ‘oopsie’.

I've seen something with similar description on the Reeperbahn, quite gymnastic as I remember.

About an hour ago I was in Chandler's Ford Aldi, wearing gloves and a face mask. We wear them at work now, so the novelty has worn off. Anyway, I coughed lightly and cleared my throat in the cashier queue. You should have seen the reaction.
I said, "honestly, just clearing my throat", to which several people then looked away and the cashier grinned from behind her mask.
But I suppose I can appreciate their anxiety. Perhaps they could demonstrate their concern a bit more by wearing gloves and mask themselves.

I agree - i just walked the dogs and it was like a normal spring Sunday.

My only outings now are to walk the dogs and I keep my distance and do not touch anything. There were probably more than usual out actually as there were more families out for mothers day.

"Oh, it doesn't apply to us"

Getting more than irked by the attitude of what seems the many.

How is this not compulsory and actionable with license revoked and fines for those involved? I shouldn't say get sick and suffer but I did, total ****ing ****ers all. That includes the knobs going to the beaches and countryside putting greater strain on limited resources stockpiling on arsewipe as they go.

It's not actually against the law as it stands but will be in a few days when the new powers are in place. In other words although they are being told not to open, it can't be enforced by law yet.
As for going to the beach or the countryside, that hasn't actually been discouraged. People aren't being told to stay at home yet, just keep your distance if you do and no large gatherings.
I think that's fair enough, you can still go out without breathing down each other's necks. We live in the countryside and took the dog out earlier without putting ourselves or anyone else at risk.

Honestly what is the problem in people going out for a walk? Why should we remain cooped up in our homes, as long as we take precautions going out? The preaching attitude is really pissing me off looking through social media.

It’s hardly a preaching attitude. There isn’t (currently) anything wrong with going for a walk, but lots of people aren’t just doing that, are they. They are gathering in groups and are highly likely to be spreading the virus.

This country will soon be in lock down, and partly due to peoples selfish, **** attitudes.

Have a look at the crowds in Skegness, at markets in London and those swarming into Scotland and elsewhere. These aren't responsible people taking precautions going out for a walk. So get pissed off with those ****ing knobs and the ****ers looting the supermarkets not those concerned with their own safety that of their friends and family and other vulnerable people.
