A subscription channel on Japanese Sky shows 2 or 3 live Premier games every week.

I'm not a subscriber because the matches are alway either Chelsea, Man U, Arsenal or Liverpool.

Apart from dodgy live streams, my best way of viewing matches is the highlights on MOTD, but I have been getting more and more frustrated with their treatment of Sunderland games.

Is it just me or are Sunderland games always shown last or second from last unless we are playing Man U. or Chelsea?

Also the editing of some of the games makes it seem like Sunderland are playing crap even if they had a good game. There was one game last year where Sunderland had most of the play, but you wouldn't have thought so if you watched it on MOTD. <doh>

I dont watch those clowns, I get sports 1 about £10 a month, shows all the games, and as many live matches as are on, but shame my UK licence money is being wasted by the ego tripping NEWARKS [anagram] in the studio.

I think its about time they bit the bullet and showed all the games on TV. In the digital age this is perfectly possible. The revenue made should be shared among the clubs equally and this would then allow ticket prices to be massively reduced which would mean full stadiums again.

Lets face it, anyone with an ounce of IT knowledge can watch the games via a steam on the Internet or go to the pub. If you really like your football its very easy to buy a dish and box of ebay, point it in the right direction and you get all the 3pm KO anyway.

The problem is Sky are scared to death they will lose their monopoly but it will happen. Microsoft are losing their monopoly because people are starting to realise they don't need Windows and use Mac OS, Linux or even sybian most users don't actually know the difference anymore. When their is Open office and google docs who needs to pay for MS office. Piracy of MS products is actually what has kept them going for so long because people insist on their products at work/school because they pirate them at home. Its the same with Sky/BBC if they shut down all the pubs and streams showing the 3pm KO's their would be an even bigger out cry for them to be shown on UK TV.

It will happen its just a matter of time. IMO it will even things up a bit and give us full stadiums and reasonable ticket prices again.
