No new reported cases in Wuhan for the first time since the outbreak began.

    That’s positive news.

If we went about our normal lives and just took small precautions such as increased hygiene measures etc then it would be very **** for a small percentage of the word population. Old people and people with underlying Heath issues would die at a much faster rate than usual for a few months until we build up an immunity to it.
If we take the current route of world governments basically scaremongering and constant media stories feeding the mass hysteria of the idiots consuming it then we will end up completely ****ed. Self employed people not being able to get work. Stocks falling off the face of the earth. People losing their homes. it’s absolutely ****ing mental and everyone seems to be lapping it up.

Sort of agree partially .... but isn't one key point that if we did that, our health service would simply collapse, then we are ****ed that way instead?
Maybe after a few weeks of harsh measures, the next step has to be to lift the measures, return to some normality but with extra hygiene measures, hoping the wave hasn't then come as a tsunami for the health service?

Maybe you’re right. I obviously have zero knowledge of this but it just seems completely blown out of all proportion. I’m just fed up of the constant media stories feeding all the panic.

I got a loaf from my local shop this morning, but they were refusing to sell it to other people, only people who regularly shop there were allowed any.

It's coming close to the stage of where it is most dangerous to be out. Hell of a lot of unconfirmed cases, asymptomatic people carrying the virus as they travel from supermarket to supermarket in search of bog roll etc.
    Be careful people.
