Like Herman's Hermits? Something tells me I'm into something good. Ah, the 1960s, those were the days. Maybe a "Favourite Pop Songs of the 60s" thread would lift our collective gloom.
All the shrewdies are reckoning on more draconian measures to be announced on Friday. My firm look like reverting to holiday shut down mode with only a handful of us in, I am expecting to be told to work from home any day now. Schools have started to close round my way or whole years are being stood down day by day. They were hanging on for the Easter holidays but I think there will be a decision made sooner than this. Added to this Grove Junior (junior) has got a cough and doesn't want to go to school, I explained that we weren't Scousers and that he had to make the effort. In fairness he did look a bit peaky so I could be on a 14 day isolation if NHS 111 says he's got enough symptoms to worry about. I hope you are all feeling well, even the c.unts.
I heard the 12 inch pianist sadly died Took a fit of coffin iirc Fooookin yaaaassss!!!!! Hit like and subscribe folks.
And then there are these hippy twats All you need is some patchouli oil and a swig of evening primrose then you will be right as rain.
Pretty sure it can be cured with crystals which have been bathed in the full moons lunar energy and an afternoons chakra alignment mate. I think spreading your ideas about patchouli and evening primrose are both dangerous and irresponsible in these difficult times.
Reports said the festival would lose £100m but if it doesn't happen then Shirley they won't lose money, just not earn it? Without the earnings they will be in a hole for anything spent to date on arranging it or paying off artists who are no longer needed but I'd expect that would be an insurance claim if there was such a policy in place. Or unless the insurance companies are tightwads and aren't going to cough up (pun intended) I've done loads of festivals but never Glastonbury, too full of crusties and new age travellers for my liking.
If this is extended to KFC and other chicken shops I am battening down the hatches and dusting off my archery gear for when it goes chimpy. https://metro.co.uk/2020/03/17/mcdo...ing-areas-tackle-spread-coronavirus-12414334/ please log in to view this image From 5am tomorrow McDonald’s will only serve takeaways, deliveries and drive-thru orders in the UK and Ireland to combat the coronavirus outbreak. The fast-food giant says it will close all of its restaurant seating areas in both countries as a precautionary measure. It comes after the chain said it would give free drinks to all emergency staff and social care workers who present their staff passes to thank them for their hard work amid the Covid-19 epidemic.

Think they were going to start the constuction of the site which means paying staff, equipment, services etc It could be ready to go and then called off but not sure if that would cost £100m,@monacoger to confirm.
