    I think that’s why retired professionals have been invited back into the NHS. It will cover some of the gaps when schools close.

    That was my thoughts behind it anyway!

    Centre Parcs have just confirmed closure 20th March to 16th April, Surly this will be a massive lose for them.

    And to add to that I'm led to believe that the NHS are ready to deploy senior students into Hospitals.....Everybody needs to pull together in this and follow instructions from the medical experts.The media need to get behind the effort being put in by the government,their advisers and scientists and stop trying to stir the **** here!!! Can you imagine this shower of worst case scenario panic spreaders during WW2 for example???

    Carphone Warehouse is to close all its 531 standalone stores on 3 April, resulting in 2,900 redundancies. The firm says the move is not related to the coronavirus outbreak, but was because of the changing mobile market.

    Laura Ashley's been in bother for a long time, they've been trying to raise emergency funding, but the current situation removed any faint possibility they had of getting any (they'd have gone into admin at some point anyway, it's a miracle they've lasted this long).

    A company I used to work for were owned by the same VC group that owned Centre Parcs. They did a presentation on Centre Parcs and apparently all sites in the UK are almost always at full capacity all year round.

    Reassuringly expensive was how I was sold our first of many visits when the kids were younger.

    My wife is vulnerable due to underlying condition.

    I work in an office.

    It would be easy for most of us to work at home.

    The boss's daughter (and second in command) was arranging so that we could start doing this.

    The boss then decided that we'll just come in slightly later and leave slightly earlier so people can shop before work. WTF.

    What is the point in my wife self isolating if I have to spend all day sat around people, people with kids at school etc?

    I am currently writing an email saying I think we should be working at home and that if we can't I will probably have to self isolate.

    Hope I don't lose my job, but rather that than lose my wife.

    BREAKING: Gatwick Airport is axing 200 jobs, stopping night flights and bosses have agreed to take a 20% pay cut as a result of the #coronavirus outbreak.

    A further 14 people have died after being diagnosed with #coronavirus in England, the Department of Health said, bringing the number of dead in the UK to 69.

You look after your wife at all costs and if you lose your job take him to a tribunal and sue the bastard and get another job when this is all over!!! Your wife is more important than some arsehole throwing his weight about!! Respect from Ric Glasgow
