It's surely a foregone conclusion that the health and wellbeing of the nation comes first. Anything said on here about football in general or LFC in particular is not disregarding that but simply an attempt to avoid all the doom and gloom that abounds and to keep us looking forward with hope when all the media seems intent on scaring the wits out of us. We don't know what's going to happen in terms of the football so let's speculate away. If anyone wants to talk specifically about the virus, can I respectfully ask for you to post it in the CV thread on the PL board.

I'll let you know, if the **** hits the fan in a big way there is a good chance my little business could fold in two months time, I've got elderly parents to worry about as well as the kids. Arguing, sorry discussing the future of the league and our title triumphs takes my mind off some very real worries. As it has in other troubling times, football remains a constant and an escape from the world of ****e that some times surrounds us.
Good little video. It's encouraging that the Spanish and Italian Associations also want to finish the season whenever that may be. If the season is abandoned, it sets a dangerous precedent. If the next flu season is similar to this one, we face the same problem. We have 9 months until the end of the year ie. still 19/20 season. Cancel the Euros, have two seasons of calendar years leading up to the WC which all fits well.
TBH they've #luckedout with WC preparation as that was going to cause chaos to the PL in the first place
I sincerely hope your business survives mate. Worrying times for you. I echo what you say about football (and sport in general) having huge benefits on mental health. Being fans is a small part of who we are, take that away and you have to reconsider what fills that void for you.
As they say in the Anfield Wrap video, today is only the first day of no football for LFC and everyone's already in #meltdown
Mate, this just shows how close we are to collapse at any given moment. 10 days ago I was doing well but a bit apprehensive, tonight I've had cancellations left right and centre ,6 weeks worth of work gone. It's going to be a struggle. I realise that I'm not alone though, any business that suddenly stops taking any money for six weeks is going to be in trouble. From the biggest to the smallest. If the flow of money stops everyone should be worried.
If they stopped it three quarters of the way through with the red horse 22 lengths ahead, then I'd say yes.
You could wallpaper your trophy room with those for every competition you've entered for last quarter of a century. Might dampen the echo.
