Good job they were playing each other for a trip to Wembley last night.
£50000 is a long way from £120000. £115000 for the Torino to United transfer isn't. I don't disagree that our spending was completely out of keeping with our position at the time.

Anyone else watching the current game of Connect 4 between us and Bayer Leverkusen on Twitter?

... sentences I could never have possibly envisaged me writing until I did.

It’s very much got the ‘mauled by the Tigers’ mix of cringe and self-aware self mockery. I like it

It’s about the first time our defence has recognised some movement from the opposition.

I thought he came from a Colombian club, Bogotá?. Did he not upset a few FA people about playing out there.
My 78 year old memory could be miles wrong of course.

I saw Denis Law play for Torino against local rivals Juventas in the early sixties.
I’m sure Gerry Hitchens played alongside him in that match. Because we were in sailors uniform the spectators made us wear both team scarves.
