    This is not good news!

How the hell can the Premier League continue when a Manager and player are in self isolation for 2 weeks.

Obviously the Brighton match has been called off, would not be surprised if the season more or less ends by this weekend, be interesting see what the outcome is.

The arsenal and Chelsea squads are both in self isolation. With players at City and Leicester also in self isolation.

This weekends games will definitely be postponed but tbh I’m expecting the whole league to be initially postponed and then possibly cancelled at a later date if the situation continues.

Listening to the radio this morning, some of the PL chairmen are suggesting that the Euro's are postponed until 2021, so that the all Euro leagues can go on hold until the summer, when hopefully they can complete the remaining fixtures.

The problem with that is that firstly it assumes the virus is no longer an issue in June, secondly that certain players contracts will have finished or will be transferred during the season ending as it’ll be the transfer window and thirdly that no-one will have any match fitness!

Not to mention it’ll basically mean no break before starting the new season as it’ll take at least 6 weeks to finish the season, possibly longer?

Because of the amount of games that get played there isn’t room really to delay the new season by much. So let’s say games resume at the start to middle of June it’ll be mid-July to the middle of August by the time the season has ended.

It seems to me like there is slightly too many games to try to fit in but who knows.

    Let me just say...

If they null and void the season...

And city’s European ban is upheld...

then I believe we’d be in the champions league...

Harsh on Liverpool however rules can not be changed mid season to suit..... does any one know 100% what happens in this unprecedented scenario of an indefinite suspended season 2019/20 would actually mean? Personally I don't believe there is any other scenario in place other than "null and void" which should be the only way moving forward.
No official body can predict what the end of current season outcome "would" have been with so many games still to be played.
Very interested to see what happens between now and May.
As afcftw suggests, there are so many factors to take into account, it's basically an "F'ing mess"
