It looks like I have had my last bet of the week.

Bet365 have just cut my Mullins horse in the last to 5/1, which is a joke price but he is winning everything.

A win and a place today leaves me £22.50 up but I have spent more than that on beer!

Spent £6 having 50p ew on 6 horses with prices ranging from 250/1 to 500/1 in the hope one could place because I thought the prices were insane

In the forum equivalent of the Prestbury Cup, Notties are clear of Fatties counting all competitors. Full tables at the end

Last throw of the dice and I'm piling on Pileon next

If you go back through its form it had beaten the favourite Billaway easily before at Cork, on recent form it was hard to see, but a reproduction of its best form was obviously good enough. Say the trainer had it in mind for a while and has been giving it an easy time. All above board of course <whistle>

I seem to recall reading on the Daily Thread at some point this week someone complaining about free bets if horses ran places not showing up.

I just got my free bet on the 'next ITV race' for Monkfish winning the 2:50. Unfortunately it did not hit my account until 16:56, a little bit late for the 'next' race (the Gold Cup), or indeed any ITV race today. I wonder if it is valid for the ladies' race at Uttoxeter tomorrow...
