That's the bit I don't get, Italy is closed so they contain the spread of the virus. Then when it reopens someone who is carrying the virus but not yet showing the symptoms can just walk in and start speading it around again.

Is it not to stop those who live in these regions from spreading it elsewhere, rather than stopping 'foreigners' from coming in and spreading it.

Italy is in lock down till the 3rd April, GLP is going there on the 8th and could potentially take the virus with him and start it spreading around Italy again.

Yes, is it not to stop the immediate spread from a high density infected area now tho?

Containment has worked well in South Korea where infection rates have dropped, but European IQs and education levels are lower and the hive mind does not exist in the same way, so perhaps the UK approach of letting everyone get ill and just dealing with it, could be the correct approach

Depends whether that date is extended or whether there’s been a reasonable time from likely infection when we get to it.
I’m guessing it will be extended

    Not true
Italy’s plans are also to stop it spreading as quickly internally, that’s why they’ve closed stuff internally regardless of stopping people visiting

I think they’ll extend beyond the 3rd if I’m honest.

My girlfriend works in the NHS. If schools close she'll be given parental leave.

I cannot attend tomorrow’s game, as I cannot take the risk.
If my wife’s treatment is delayed because I watched City, I would not forgive myself.
I can’t odds the chance it could be delayed because of other factors, but I can’t risk being in a crowd.
I doubt that I will make another game this season now.
