Aye it'll be the same bloke usually wears a old home kit with Scud on the back and a bright coloured wig. I thought he was trying to be funny at first, but he kept going on and on and I just thought this blokes a dickhead. He was lucky he was in a depature lounge put it that way. I'd love to know where he's from because he has a cheek going on about Geordie accents when he opens his mouth

The guy I'm on about had an old home kit on but was a scruffy little **** with short black greasy hair.

This if ****ing ****, I of course go to the games to support the team but when I sat away from Leazes one game (sat in the Gallowgate) I must say I was bored ****less!

This is ****ing ****! Everyone goes on about our fans always singing and that's because of the Leazes corner, without it next to the away fans for banter and without the same people in a section we might as well just all sit in silence the whole ****ing game! I'm ****ing fuming!!!

    Queer this.

They're also moving our away fans into the South and pushing the away support into the SWC, our 'singing' area.

Northumbria Police? Seems parculiar to me, seems both clubs want the home and away seperated, or someone has told them to seperate them...

Where is the sense in having 4000 mackems next to 3-4 year old kids? Its ****ing barmy!

And it would make sense if they moved the away fans in your ground to that upper tier.

    Totally agree mate.

One of the best things about going to the derby is the banter, not so much this year at SJP, bit **** when you have nowt to throw back, but facts are football is a tribal sport, and your right, at a derby a fans a fan, our lot won't be thinking 'let's tone it down there's young un's'.

It's northumbria police this, i'm telling you, both clubs? Bullshit.

Well the reason we moved away fans to where we did in St. James' was down to money apparently.

Ashley figured that if they put them in that corner of level 7 they would only need one line of police to seperate the home and away fans as there'd be no other home fans on the other side since the stand stops instead of level 7 continuing into the East Stand. Costs a fortune for police to cover the games

And no doubt the noisy loyal ones of you get charged extra for this enforced move, knowing you'll go no matter what.

Actually no, it went down in price.

I will be taking up the 10 year offer, but I am very annoyed at having to move.

I would make sure you read the small print inside out on the renewal pack before you sign up to that 10 year deal. Looking at the website they've just written -

Which to me doesn't make sense because your not going to sign up for next year onwards then opt out before the 2011/2012 season has even started, so obviously there's going to be a minimum of one season commitment, so the wording of that's a bit strange and it'll be interesting to see what the small print in the pack says

I dunno if people realise, but since they are getting shot of the singing section the heavily discounted tickets we got for sitting there are no more, so it's going to jump to 598 quid from next season onwards. That's like 200 quid more than this seasons

You didn't have this problem when you had much smaller crowds back in the 80's pre Keegan

So can the gloryhunters not go support Sunderland?

gutted to be moving from the singing section
thinking of that 18-21year olds but it will most likely end up getting full of first season ticket holders
and it will have a carling cup, chavs first ever game feel to it - really dont want that

At the moment Im opting towards a 10year gallowgate deal

Is everyone from the Leazes L7 just going to move to L4 in the same corner? I'd be up for that but wherever we move we need to make sure we all go to the same section otherwise we will lose a big part of our atmosphere. Also we need to stay together because i don't want to be made to sit down, I'd hate it.

It seems level 4 will be the option, although I think it will be split between gallowgate upper and level 4.

Not too long ago I worked as a steward in the away section at SJP. Just before I left there was talk of scrapping the police segregtaion line and replacing it with a dedicated team of 18 stewards. I bumped into one of the lads off my old team after the Arsenal game and he told me they were going to be trying that out next game.
