If it had neen one person one l would have put them on ignore. Some great posters on there and I have met some great people through the board but there is a lot of things I disagree with and decided to come off.
That's a good thing as you say. It's excruciating on RTG when threads are full of dozens of posts saying 'bring him home ... Parkinson out ... 1-1 .... etc'. People on here post when they can be bothered, say what they think and don't get into endless hair splitting arguments. More like a gentleman's club than a Friday night town centre boozer.
Shame you had to come off mate. I can see your point though. There’s a lot of posters on there now to whom being right is more important than the actual subject under discussion. They won’t see that it’s a forum and everyone is entitled to an opinion. If there is a difference of opinion it can be discussed, and if no middle ground can be found, agree to disagree. All too often posters suffer very personal insults for having the temerity to disagree. It’s a shame as a lot of very good posters have left because of it.
