Some renewal of the Ballymore this year and the favourite is awfully short - let's see how day 1 goes but at the moment I think he needs taking on. RSA looks a very decent renewal too. Hello, what have we here? Traffic Fluide off 142 in the Coral Cup. Veeeeery interesting. This could be a masterstroke from Gary Moore. Also Panic Attack carries only 10-04 in the bumper. 10-04!!! That means she gets 15lbs from most of the field. Kinell . If Pipe hasn't ruined her already that is huge. Mind you he did win this with Moon Racer
Didn't think I'd be able to back Altior at 3/1, but I did on Sunday, NRNB. So either he doesn't run and I get my money back, or I get the value. Defi De Seuil will probably win whatever happens though, so that's the flaw in my plan. Also on Politologue e/w at 16s, so here's hoping he lines up as well.
I have for Wednesday: Ballymore: The Big Getaway 8/1 only win (Dlauro 25/1 e/w NR) RSA Chase: Copperhead 7/1 only win Coral Cup: Alfa Mix 33/1 e/w QMCC: Altior 2/1 (Triple with BDD 4/5 and A Plus Tard 9/4) Fred Winter: Saint D’Oroux 33/1 e/w Cross Country: No bet Bumper: The Glancing Queen 25/1 e/w (Hamundarson 33/1 e/w NR)
A shame that arguably the biggest star of the festival is out - I have said Defi would win all along anyway though. just annoyed I don't get any value now
As it happens i have not got one bet on Altior in any accy or combo's so im not too fussed from a pocket side of things. But, in saying that, i would have loved to see the champion horse that he is try and create a bit of history and maybe be in one of the best races of the four day festival... Oh well, cherish them while they are still running i suppose...
The CC doesn’t make much appeal as a betting heat now tbh. Looking forward to watching it though, and if Politologue can beat three home I’m in profit.
After todays success from the Hendo stable with Shishkin, this evening they have sent Dame De Compagnie for Wednesday.
I know it was his birthday today but looking at the first 6 races tomorrow it could be an unforgettable day for JP McManus
I see Robbie Power has got off Copperhead and onto Slate House. I'm surprised, I'll own. Anyone see the logic?
Morning 2.50-Champagne Well Each Way @ 16-1 [Paddy Power] 7 Places Classy horse and one for the locals
Tricky race the RSA and I think Slate House is over-priced. I do worry about Tizzard’s yard Form at the moment though.
