McCann signed 15 players in the current squad, they’re his players. He insists on playing 4-3-3, despite us no longer have players that suit that formation. We’re in a relegation battle and have been for many weeks, but up until a few weeks ago, McCann still claimed we were aiming for the play-offs. Yesterday’s showing was pathetic, utterly pathetic and McCann quite obviously has no idea how to change it, he says he’ll carry on doing the same thing and hoping for a different outcome.
I’m sure that’s the definition of “stupid” doing the same failing things and expecting different results
I didn't check the exact number of points vs. games played for the period mentioned and didn't want a numerical error to distract from my point. I'm not being devil's advocate, I'm expressing a personal opinion on a thread that has been started and contributed to heavily demanding a man lose his job for a poor run of results and performances over a 2.5 month period, when ca. £50 million has been siphoned out of a club over 5 years, when the club was in the top league for only one of those years...
Me too, but I was trying to be polite. If I was chatting to someone and they said they were a City fan and I replied "How about this ****ing **** run of form we're in" and they said "Oh, we're on a bad run, are we? I haven't ****ing checked", I think that would be the end of any future conversation.
You don't think averaging less than 0.2 points per game and shipping goals for fun isn't significant?
Bloody hell, if Bullard was out on the piss all the time, but you never saw a photo, then the fact that you didn’t see a photo of the players drinking in Stoke doesn’t mean it didn’t happen either.
Yes. Awful performances. But no surprise. You posted a table showing the club at 7th(?) for profitability on sales. The issue lies there. Years of disinvestment in the playing squad has resulted in this. A man was asked to stem the tide and putti G responsibility on him now is wrong.
I don't know where I've written about it being insignificant. It's very significant of years of corporate mismanagement.
As I said earlier, the state of the club is down to Ehab, but the **** team selections, **** formations, **** substitutions, inability to motivate the players are down to McCann, he doesn’t get a let-off for being crap, just because Ehab’s a ****.
You post an opinion, someone else disagrees and explains why, as I've done. That's what makes a discussion. If it's a red flag, then the forum format isn't for you.
Woah bloody hell I never said it didn’t happen ffs lambo who’s rattled your ****ing cage. I just said you’d have thought a stoke fan who saw city players out the night before a game would have taken a pic to prove his point on a message board. Your the ****er that’s dissecting it
He obviously accepted that responsibility. He has a 94% failure rate in the last 11 league games. He duped the owners (who know bugger-all about football) into hiring him. A serious freefall. He's equally to blame in the recent demise, if not more to blame.
