The bloke is clearly completely clueless, he has absolutely no idea whatsoever how to arrest this slide, and he’s just made that crystal clear in that single interview!
Blunder does seem like a repository for divvies...Some £uckwit from Scunny came on to make an allegation against a Codhead player. It turns out he wasn't playing.
Nearly time to get hid behind the sofa...EFL on Quest is on in ten minutes. It should come with a warning... "Watching Hull City throw in the towel after 15 minutes may make your blood boil."
It's not mutiny, it's leadership. The leader picked by the manager to act for him on the pitch. It's not necessarily a wholesale change of formation, but for example a bollocking for Grositski (while he was still here) to get back and help his full back out, or Wilks helping out young McKenzie - that sort of thing. The standard default here is to Ian Ashbee. Do you think he would have stood for some of the **** going on over recent weeks? Seems like the majority us on here that have either played football a lot, maybe managed / coached a lot, probably watched City a lot, and to cap it all watched a lot on TV. Certainly not professionals I get that, but not condescendingly 'armchair experts' . All of us can see the same basic things going wrong time and time again and as a manager would want the captain to do something; or as a captain on the pitch would be telling x to get their finger out. And any captain worth his salt, or his manager for that matter, shouldn't have to wait until half time or full time, to consult the flip charts or lap tops and have a discussion about what to change. It should be after 11 minutes or 16 or 18 etc. Or in the case of l**ds last week, right from the start and rattling the goalie from kick off. It's not difficult.
Said earlier in the season that when we won a game I found Grant McCann's self belief quite inspiring and when we lost I found it bordering on arrogance. Still feel the same. It's just we've been losing rather a lot recently so been experiencing one feeling more than the other!
McCann appearing to lay all the blame on the players. As **** as they maybe, he has to take responsibility too, as do the owners. On the cusp of the playoffs at the start of the year, in the **** well before Easter. You could not make it up, but you could reconcile it to (gross) negative investment in January. Selling Div 1 players and replacing 5em with Div 3 players = a slide down the table. Probably enough left to get 3 wins or so but who knows, it could be a disaster yet.
"Embarrassing" A single word spoken by my lad today as we walked back to the car. Not aimed at the performance, the players, the Manager or even the result. It was directed at a group (4) of Stokee Jugheads as we listened to their conversation whilst ambling behind them.. "That was easy I think we'll stay up now" "Yeh didn't realise how **** Hull were" "We won't have it that easy tomorrow" "It'll be hard with Rashford out, but depending on which Martial turns up we could have a chance" Life at City's not that bad ... is it? My lad's obviously more refined than me. I'm guessing you can guess my response.
Some bald headed **** with his young toddler tried to run me over at stoke away the year Boateng got knocked out by Tuncay. Never even said anything to him as I was walking back to the car he started shouting a load of **** at me I just ignored him then a minute or two later he came speeding up the road and ramped up on the path then shouted some more **** after I jumped out the way. Fast enough that if I didn’t see him coming if he didn’t kill me it would have crippled me. None of the other ****s around made so much as a murmur either just looked away and carried on with their business.
I listened to terrys interview and came to the conclusion he hasn’t got a clue how to sort this. The worse thing about it is I don’t think we have any better options
Geo, as it stands, 'anyone is a better option', even the ones who's names we wouldn't normally want associated with HCAFC...
please log in to view this image put him in charge - he's already at the club and couldn't possibly do any worse
Listening to the McCann interview again is bad enough, but listening to, and watching Irvine again in his is vomit inducing! Two clueless ****s.
