I have a fellow Scarborough supporting friend who does away games in car Chazz and I can go to any away game with him BUT stupid health reasons mean I have only done 5 away games in 3 seasons But no worrys Chazz I am fine and I get to home games , including home friendlies and all home cup games . The valley pub travel club run the coach Chazz and it's half price fare for 16 and under.. A couple of times they have had two coaches and of course quite a few go via car
Right Listen in! This is your mission if you choose to accept it... 28th March 1100 meet in the bar at Royal Hotel for a beer 1121 train. Hull to Scarborough 1122 open beer on train 1240 arrive on the East Coast Riviera 1241 find a pub At a time and location (must be a pub) to be set by FileySeadog we’ll meet him 1445 leave pub and go to match 1500 watch Scarborough v Gainsborough 1700 leave to a post match pub 1845 attempt to get people to leave pub for the 1900 train home 1859 probably give up (for this reason I’d recommend the day open return at £17) 1945 possibly actually leave pub for the train at 2000 fall asleep on train 2120 arrive back in Hull Roll call?...
I’m a defo maybe.... would prob get a bus over to Driff & pick up the party train there. Hull is too far in the opposite direction to get the train there Are you still allowed to drink on local trains?
Driffield joining is a perfect plan. Can share mobile numbers with people nearer the time to arrange things on the fly. Some joined in Bev last time And yes...you can indeed drink on trains
Reference drinking, yes. Well worth the effort to attend, decent day out and very sociable. I, unfortunately can’t attend this time as I’m otherwise engaged.
We’ve sold ours, exchanging contracts Friday. We had an offer accepted on somewhere today, I think I’ll be ok but erring on the side of caution.
Looking forward to it .. It's also our next home game as we are away again next Saturday at Basford and don't have a game the Saturday after. Scarborough v Gainsborough our only home game in March.
