Off down to Ayr today, bet of the day has to be The Con Man 3:05. Got the 5/2 this morning as think it will be a lot shorter at the off, actually thought it would be closer to odds on so couldn't believe the 5/2. Was well beaten in a decent handicap at Ascot last time but finished off the race well to finish 5th. Just think will be too good for these today. I also like Drumconnor Lad in the first, Heskin coming up for 1 ride could be a tip in itself plus always need to be wary of these Irish chaps sending them over. Don't know how I'd find it but would be interested to know the strike rate of Irish horses sent to Scottish courses, particularly Ayr. Whether its flat or jumps whenever I'm at Ayr always seems to be a lot of Irish trained winners. Any fancies for Ayr?
